The Orchid Medicare 3-in-1 bathing solution is designed to assist carers in providing personal care incorporating showering, bathing and toileting needs.
The 3-in-1 bathing solution can be used as a shower chair and commode chair.
The bathing cradle is detachable for patient transfers into a bath using a hoist and the cradle will also support a patient in a reclined position allowing greater immersion in the water.

Product Description
The bathing cradle sits on top of a slim-line base transporter made to fit through unmodified door frames, facilitating safe and simple patient transport; this can be positioned easily using the waterproof electric controls.
The mesh fabric is easily removable and features a polygiene antimicrobial coating.
The cradle and base are manufactured using stainless steel, and a quality finish is guaranteed with the polyester powder coating.
Four standard sizes are available, but if you have a bespoke requirement please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss further.

Other base transporter options are available to further tailor the piece of equipment to best suit the users needs, such as
Standard Base Transporter (electric control), Supine Base Transporter (manual control) and Fixed Angle Base Transporter (manual control).

Accessories
Aperture : Small-Medium-Large : Aperture is available for all mesh-covered bathing and showering cradles, allowing for carers to perform additional personal care duties such as toileting and cleaning. Ideal for use over our commode facility.
Delta Head Rest : The Delta Head Rest can be easily adjusted to any height to suit the individual and can be easily removed if required.
The concave space comfortably supports the head and can also be used to provide extra support and comfort to the legs.
Detachable Side Pannels : Detachable Side Panels provide additional safety and support.
These panels have internal foam padding sewn into the mesh fabric.
The fabric can be easily removed for cleaning.
Versions available for both the Tilt-In-Space and 3-In-1 Bathing Solution.
Side Support Rolls : Side Support Rolls are mesh covered foam measuring 4” by 12”, and provide additional support when used in conjunction with our range of bathing equipment.
The width is fully adjustable and can be attached at different points up and down the cradle to offer support not only to the sides, but to the thighs and calves if needed.
Flat Pad : Our Flat Pads are mesh covered foam measuring 4” by 12” and are half-moon shaped attached to a fully adjustable velcro strap.
These Flat Pads provides additional support for a client’s neck, back, legs or torso, and can be used in various positions to provide the required support for an individual and to facilitate positioning.
Neck Roll : Our Neck Rolls are mesh covered foam measuring 4” by 12” and are round in shape attached to a fully adjustable velcro strap.
This Neck Roll provides additional support for a client’s neck, back, legs or torso, and can be used in various positions to provide the required support for an individual and to facilitate positioning.
In-Bath Support : The In-Bath Support is for use with our in-bath bathing cradles to support the frame and fix it in the correct position.
Low-profile version available for deeper submersion into the water. We also have another version available to suit an Avero bath.
If you have a non-standard bath, bespoke in-bath supports can be provided.
Adjustable Footrest : This Footrest features multiple pre-drilled holes making it fully adjustable, allowing you to reach the desired amount of support and comfort for the end user.
If required the footrest can be easily removed using the two locating screws.
There is a footrest pad available to provide extra padding for those with more sensitive feet.
Commode Facility : This Commode Facility aids toileting for individuals who require support due to illness, injury or disability.
Our high quality commode facility is available for both our slim line or standard base transporters and hooks onto the base frame for use below the aperture.
The commode pan & lid are available to purchase separately.
Hoist Strap : Hoist Straps come as a set of four for attaching by way of the carabineer to each of the lifting bolts on the cradle.
The standard straps are supplied for use with hoists with a coat hanger style spreader bar.
Straps for use with clip style hoists are available on request.
Ankle Strap : Ankle Support Straps offer further security for the end user, and the prevention of injury.
Knee Strap : Knee Support Straps offer further security for the end user, and the prevention of injury.
Lap/Chest Support (Loose) : Chest/Lap Support Straps offer further security for the end user, and the prevention of injury.
Body Point Harness : Our Full Body Harness provides posterior and lateral support for clients who have poor trunk control, as well as offering a sense of safety and security.
Overlay Panel Aperture Cover : This Overlay Mesh Panel is used to discretely cover aperture when it’s not in use. Made from the same antimicrobial mesh material used on our cradles.

We are able to provide a free assessment if required and also offer a chargeable installation service.
